I don't know about you, but I think this is absolutely beautiful. I Took this picture on my way back from St. George. I believe that the dark spot is rain and I think it is cool that it is cloudy in one place and then a 'cartoon-ish' blue cloudy sky in the background. I enjoy this picture.

Yes. I know. I do know that my voice is very high pitched in this video...

But really can you blame me? I can just get soooo bored sometimes and I have to do odd little things like this to pass the time by. And have fun. And have excuses to do things like this.

The reason I made this video, was because my dad had asked me to make a vegetable plate. So I did, but I also made a video with it. It was just fun. You should do this too.

I suddenly got a thought. An urge. A wish...

I really want to go camping. It is so random, but I do. And I just don't know why.

I guess it would be fun to go in the summer, but why would I want to go in the freezing cold winter? These are just some of the questions I want answered. I am almost a little afraid.

What makes me think suddenly about camping when I was just barely thinking about a different layout for this blog? Could it be that I am not a focused child? Am I "an odd little thing"? Why is this happening to me?!

I guess I may never know, but know I will want to go camping all through the rest of winter. Great!

Watermelon, Weeds, or Both

This is my garden. . . of weeds. Yes I know, it's pretty pathetic, but it is my garden that got started. . . and never finished.

What you see here, are the weeds that planted themselves in the garden. I hate it when they just think that they can walk right in and make themselves comfortable. (By now I hope that you realize that I am quite lazy when it comes to gardening)

All the fruits and veggies that we planted were not successful. The only thing besides weeds, were watermelon plants.

Last year we planted Watermelon, but they didn't turn out very big. And we only got two Watermelon out of two Watermelon plants. Oh well. *sigh* This is an example of the watermelon that we got:

My garden has a lot Watermelon plants in it. And a ton of flowers on the plants. I cannot wait until those flowers turn into big, juicy, Watermelon!

Bucket List Books

The Hunger Games is a fantastic book with lots of adventure and exciting new ideas. I think this was a masterpiece of a book and is also a fabulous series. It has some violence but is still a great book. I would rate this book with 5 stars!
Catching Fire is the second book in The Hunger Games. It is a great book with a cliff hanger at the end. But luckily, the third and final book of The Hunger Games is coming out this month which is called Mockingjay. I will be purchasing that book.

The Seer and the Sword was a book that I just finished last night. It was pretty good but there would be things that I would change. Maybe a little less murder and hate? More humor and action?

Fairest I read a little while back but forgot that I read it. This is a good book that a lot of girls at my school liked and read.

Well, I am sick and not very happy about it. Tonight is my chorus concert at 6:30 and I haven't even been to one of the practices. I hope I will be well enough to go and sing and not puke on the person or people in front of me. Maybe I just won't be able to go? But I have to get an A in that class. It would be pathetic to flunk a class such as chorus. Pathetic.

This is not a recent picture of me but I still look that color. At least I haven't thrown up as much as I did that day.

Hair, Brookie, and Me

I have never, ever been able to have cute curls that would stay in for 15 minutes let alone a full day...until Brooke's Revlon flat iron. Luckily for me Brooke left it in a bathroom drawer of hers after she moved out. She wants it back but that would just be cruel to leave me with a bad hair- do. I am now able to do my bangs well and also create the cutest curls on the earth. If Brookie took it back, I would be devastated and sad. But there is one thing,she doesn't want me to look bad and suffer. She even told me yesterday that she was proud of me to be doing my hair. So whose side are you on?The side who only wants it(Brooke's)? Or the side that needs it(me, Joy)? Brookies or Mine? Bwahahahahaha! Bwahahahahaha. Bwahahahahaha? Sorry that was really weird. Waiting for the Laundry

Well right now there is a load of laundry in the washer and in dryer and I really need to get dressed so why not use this time to write a post instead of staring off into space.

The laundry is something we all must learn to do at some point in our lives. I liked it better when I got payed to do Brookes laundry but now that she has moved out I cannot do it any more for pay.

Speaking of pay and money, I need to earn a lot so I can go to Disney land in June. If anyone wants to pay me to do something I will love for you to get a hold of me and get me working. I REALLY NEED THE MONEY!!!

OK, back to laundry. I am still waiting for the laundry to be finished but it just keeps of making the sound of clothes hitting the sides of the cylinders they are in. I am so glad I am not a piece of clothing. Aren't you? They make such sacrifices for us we even weep for them and are sad for what they had to go through.

Well we all must learn to do laundry. The clothes sacrifice for us and we should be kind enough to sacrifice for them and clean them. Clothes are wonderful to have and so are washing machines.

Yay! The dryer just buzzed so see ya.

The Fablehavens

I can't tell you how much I love the Fablehaven series! I have read the first four and now am on the fifth. At first I was not interested in the books and did not want to read them. Until one of my friends suggested it for a book report, I was never going to ever read them in my life(I can't remember why, though). Once I finished the the book I needed the second in the series. I soon finished that and got to the third. The third was probably the one I disliked the most. It took so long to get into the action, fun, and tension. It took me a lot longer to read that one out of all of them. I went on to read the fourth and now am so excited to finish the fifth. This in an amazing series and one of the best I have ever read. Even ask Ashton to tell you how good they are! YOU HAVE TO READ THEM! Hint: The books get a lot better as you go. The fourth was my favorite so far but I still haven't finished the fifth. Who knows, I might like this one even better!

Gypsy

So I was going through all the things in the box that had the info to our camera and I found a chip that had old pics of when I was 8 and when I was baptized. The chip also contained photos of when Niel got back from his mission and other family stuff. I just wanted to post them to show how much different people look and how many more people we have in our family today.

Today I mowed too much. You may ask, how could that be possible, well it just plain is...my hands hurt and I am so tired! I know I should not be complaining but it made me very unhappy and sunburned too. Finding out that after I mowed 2 huge lawns I had to mow a 3rd made me more angry but I did it anyway. It has been a couple hours now since I mowed but if I hold my hands a certain way, they still kill. Sorry that this post was just complaints.

On Friday, November 27th, I and the rest of my family got a new niece. She is SOOOO cute!!!!! Her name is Lanora (Lanie). She had the cutest, roundest, cheeks in the world. She has the cutest nose and a double chin. I can't wait until we can go to Paula and James's house. :)

6th Grade

This is the last week of 6th grade!!! I'm very excited but also kinda sad. Mrs. Cook has been the greatest but I'm going to have a great summer. SUMMER OF FUN, HERE I COME!!!!! Yup! I'm gonna have fun.
Tomorrow is the 6th grade swim party and I am not sure how fun it will be. I am going to feel awkward but I'm gonna be OK. GOT 2 GO!

I am so sorry that I haven't writen on the blog since Thanksgiving. Now it's March. Any way I will try to stay up to date. So much has happened. Well, we had Christmas. Christmas was a very fun affair we went down to Ape's house and we all had a great time. Then there was New Years. We had a bunch of fun, too. We had; Valentines Day, Presidents Day, and St. Patties Day. On St. Patricks day, Brikelle invited Camille and me to go to the St. Patricks Day parade. We got allot of candy. And allot of hats. So now i will tell you what has happened lately . Yesterday I went swimming with Carmina, Brikelle, and me. We went to Holiday Lions. then today I went to Audrey Simpers birthday party. It was also at Holiday Lions. I gave her $12 for her12th birthday. And so now I am at home writing this to tell everybody who wants to know.

Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving was very fun. Unless you sat at the "kids" table. The "kids" table was just... BURP! "Do you want to play hide and seek?"

We pretty much ate the second we got our plate. When we were done the adults were still getting there plate ready. We hadn't eaten lunch and it was 4:00. We couldn't wait another second.

Anyway, hide and seek was fun. Ashton and Allison got stuck on the balcony for a long time until dad went outside and they yelled down to him so he could unlock the door that lead to the balcony.

In the mean time I was in a closet and I swear I almost suffocated until I couldn't take it another minute so I finally got out and do you know what I saw? I saw Ashton and Allison sitting at the table eating a piece of pie.

I was kinda upset because there they were eating pie and I was dieing in a closet, but I'm fine and breathing now and everyone is happy. Comment about your Thanksgiving. BYE!

I finally found out who my teacher was on THURSDAY! It was Ms. Robinson. I was so sad. I didn't know anyone in her class. None of my friends were in her class and so I would be ALONE! Mama saw that I was so very disappointed so she went to the principle and asked if she would change me to Ms. Cook's class. The principle did. And so now I'm in Ms.Cook's class. I can't wait until SCHOOL!!!!!!!
